Chitrakatha (chitra — image, katha — story) was founded by Pankkaj Rokade in 2015. Ten years on, we've photographed and filmed over 150 weddings — from candle-lit Catholic ceremonies in Mumbai to monsoon vows at the palaces of Udaipur, with our home base shared between Mumbai, Nashik, and Pune.
We're a boutique studio by choice. We take on a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets the attention their story deserves — from the first conversation through the final delivered film.

When Rohit and Ninali decided on a Maharashtrian destination wedding, they wanted Nashik — the vines, the open skies, the quiet hours before the baraat.
