Mumbai weddings are unlike any others. Multiple days, multiple ceremonies, multiple sides of the family flying in from different cities. Catholic mass in the morning, Maharashtrian engagement in the afternoon, sangeet that runs past midnight. Photographing them takes someone who knows the city, the venues, the rhythms of how Indian families move from one event to the next.
Chitrakatha is a studio of Mumbai photographers. We have shot weddings from Bandra to Borivali, Kolaba to Khar, Thane to Navi Mumbai. We know which hotel rooftops have the best afternoon light. We know which temples allow flash and which insist on natural light. We know which family members will go missing during the photo lineup and how to find them quickly. None of this is in our marketing material — but all of it shows up in your album.

Quiet on the day
Your wedding is not a photoshoot — it's a wedding. We move quietly, ask very little, and let the day be the day. The best frames come when no one is performing for the camera.

Every photo gets touched. Colour, mood, light — we grade frames the way films are graded, so your album feels like a body of work, not a folder of files.
Deliver when we promised
Sneak peeks within a week. Full gallery in 4–6 weeks. Wedding film in 8–10. We've never missed a delivery date in ten years.
